“Game will not install”

Verify system requirement list

The system requirements for each game are listed on Download game page. Please verify that your computer meets all of the system requirements for running your game.

Turn off programs

First, restart your computer system and then disable programs currently running on your system. These programs cause problems when you try to install software. To learn how to disable these programs, click:

Clear Internet cache

Windows temporarily stores (caches) Internet files on your system in the Temporary Internet Files folder. If this folder is full or files with in it become corrupt, problems can occur with the game installer. Before installing the game, empty Temporary Internet Files. To learn how to empty the Internet cache, click:

The game installer uses the Windows Temp folder to temporarily cache or to extract install files. Be sure to empty this folder to ensure a clean installation.

Step 1

Click Start and then Run.

Step 2

In the Open box, type: TEMP

Step3

Click OK to open the Windows Temp folder

Step 4

On the Edit menu, click Select All.

Step 5

On the File menu, click Delete and delete all the files in this folder. If prompted, click Yes or Yes to all to remove these files.

Install the game

Once you have completed the above steps, install the game.

Step 1

Go to http://games.msn.com and click PC Download on the left navigational bar in the "Browse Games" section under "Ways to Play.".

Step 2

Locate the game and click it. If you do not see the game, click More.

Step3

On the game page, click Try It Now.

Step 4

Click Run or Open to download and install the game.

Step 5

You are now ready to open and play the game.
