In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, locate the following information on each tab:

On the System tab:  Operating system, Processor, Memory, DirectX Version

On the Display tab:  Name, Total Memory, Current Display Mode, Direct3D Acceleration Enabled or Disabled (This information is your video/graphics card information and monitor settings)

DirectX is a system component on which many games are run. It provides a key set of tools to enhance games and multimedia applications. Some PC Download games utilize DirectX and will require it to be installed in order to play.
