“When attempting to enter a game room on MSN Games , I receive one of the following error messages: “The File/Fileset filename is unaccounted for” or “Unable to parse line <xxx>”, or “ZSetup was started, but rejected the component data.”

This issue may occur if certain MSN Games files are missing or damaged. To resolve this issue, remove and reinstall the Zone.zat file and the Zsetup folder.

Remove and Reinstall the Zone.zat file and the ZSetup folder

To remove and reinstall the Zone.zat file and the Zsetup folder, follow the steps below:

Step 1

Open My Computer, the C:\ drive, the Program Files folder, and then the MSN Gaming Zone folder

Step 2

Locate the Zone.zat file. Click once to highlight it and press the Delete key to remove this file. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Step 3

Locate the ZSetup folder. Click once to highlight it and press the Delete key to remover this folder. Click Yes to confirm the deletion.

Step 4

Go to http://games.msn.com

Step 5

Start the game again and the missing files will be automatically installed.
