Installation or loading errors, including “ActiveX” errors or “Critical” errors

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you encounter an error while installing game files or while loading a game, try following the steps below.

 

 

 

 

 

Sign in with a Windows User Account with administrative privileges

 

 

 

 

 

 

To install game software on a Windows Vista or Windows XP Professional computer, you need to sign into the computer with an account that allows you to make system changes in order to install game software (for example, an Administrator or Standard user account). If you are signed in with a Restricted user account, you will not have the option to install game files. Please contact the computer’s owner or your IT department if you need assistance logging in with this type of account.

 

 

 

 

 

Adjust Internet Options settings

 

 

 

 

 

 

This problem may occur from out-of-date files or if the system is preventing ActiveX controls from installing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 1

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Click Start and then Control Panel.

If the Control Panel window is empty, click View all Control Panel Options in the left section of the window to show all the icons.

Click Yes or OK to remove these files.

Next, click Delete Cookies and then Yes or OK to remove these files.

In Windows Vista or for systems with Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher installed, close the Delete Browsing History window when completed.

Uninstall the ActiveX control
