| | This issue occurs when the display is set to a lower resolution. To change the current resolution, follow these steps: | |

| | Step 1 | |

| | Click Start and then Control Panel.
If the Control Panel window is empty, click View all Control Panel Options in the left section of the window to display all the icons. | |

| | Step 2 | |
| | | |
| | In Windows XP, click Display, or click Appearance and Themes and then Display.
In Windows Vista, click Adjust screen resolution in the Appearance and Personalization section. If you are in the Classic View, select Personalization, and then select Display Settings. | |

| | Step 3 | |
| | | |
| | In Windows XP set Color Quality to 32-bit Color.
In Windows Vista click Display Settings and set Colors to Highest (32 bit). | |

| | Step 4 | |

| | Click OK. If prompted, restart your computer. | |

| | Step 5 | |
| | | |
| | Try the game again. | |

| | If the above steps do not resolve this issue, update the driver for your video card. Many video-related issues can be resolved by installing the latest drivers and/or bios for your computer system’s video card or graphics controller. These updates are usually free from the computer manufacturer or video card manufacturer’s Web site and should improve a computer’s overall performance. | |
